Rapporté par Qais bin Ubad : Abu Dharr avait l’habitude de jurer que le verset : « Ces deux adversaires (croyants et mécréants) disputent au sujet de leur Seigneur. » (22.19) a été révélé à propos de Hamza et de ses deux compagnons, et d’`Utbah et de ses deux compagnons, le jour où ils sont sortis pour la bataille de Badr

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُقْسِمُ فِيهَا إِنَّ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ} نَزَلَتْ فِي حَمْزَةَ وَصَاحِبَيْهِ، وَعُتْبَةَ وَصَاحِبَيْهِ يَوْمَ بَرَزُوا فِي يَوْمِ بَدْرٍ رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ. وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ قَوْلَهُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Qais bin Ubad:Abu Dharr used to take an oath confirming that the Verse: 'These two opponents (believers, and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord.' (22.19) was Revealed in connection with Hamza and his two companions and `Utbah and his two companions on the day when they went out to the battle of Badr

ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو ابوہاشم نے خبر دی، انہیں ابومجلز نے، انہیں قیس بن عباد نے اور انہیں ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے وہ قسم کھا کر بیان کرتے تھے کہ یہ آیت «هذان خصمان اختصموا في ربهم» ”یہ دو فریق ہیں، جنہوں نے اپنے پروردگار کے بارے میں جھگڑا کیا۔“ حمزہ اور آپ کے دونوں ساتھیوں ( علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ اور عبیدہ بن حارث رضی اللہ عنہ مسلمانوں کی طرف سے ) اور ( مشرکین کی طرف سے ) عتبہ اور اس کے دونوں ساتھیوں ( شیبہ اور ولید بن عتبہ ) کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی، جب انہوں نے بدر کی لڑائی میں میدان میں آ کر مقابلہ کی دعوت دی تھی۔ اس روایت کو سفیان نے ابوہاشم سے اور عثمان نے جریر سے، انہوں نے منصور سے، انہوں نے ابوہاشم سے اور انہوں نے ابومجلز سے اسی طرح نقل کیا ہے۔
