Rapporté par Al-Bara : Le dernier verset qui a été révélé était : « Ils te demandent un avis juridique : Dis : Allah vous donne Son avis sur Al-Kalalah (ceux qui n’ont ni descendants ni ascendants comme héritiers). » Et la dernière sourate révélée était Bara’a

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ آخِرُ آيَةٍ نَزَلَتْ {يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ} وَآخِرُ سُورَةٍ نَزَلَتْ بَرَاءَةٌ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Bara:The last Verse that was revealed was: 'They ask you for a legal verdict: Say: Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah (those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs).' And the last Sura which was revealed was Baraatun

ہم سے ابوالولید ہشام بن عبدالملک نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابواسحاق نے کہ میں نے براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سب سے آخر میں یہ آیت نازل ہوئی تھی «يستفتونك قل الله يفتيكم في الكلالة» اور سب سے آخر میں سورۃ برات نازل ہوئی۔
