Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Personne n’a le droit de dire que je suis meilleur que Jonas fils de Matta. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا يَنْبَغِي لِعَبْدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Nobody has the right to say that I am better than Jonah bin Matta

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو سعد بن ابراہیم نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے حمید بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کسی شخص کے لیے جائز نہیں کہ مجھے یونس بن متی علیہ السلام سے بہتر بتائے۔
