Rapporté par `Aisha : Ce verset : « Allah ne vous tiendra pas rigueur pour ce qui est involontaire dans vos serments. » (5.89) a été révélé à propos d’un homme qui disait dans ses conversations : « Non, par Allah » et « Oui, par Allah. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنِ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ {لاَ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ} فِي قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لاَ وَاللَّهِ، وَبَلَى وَاللَّهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:This Verse: "Allah will not punish you for what is unintentional in your oaths." (5.89) was revealed about a man's statement (during his talk), "No, by Allah," and "Yes, by Allah

ہم سے علی بن سلمہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مالک بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشام نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ آیت «لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو في أيمانكم» ”اللہ تم سے تمہاری فضول قسموں پر پکڑ نہیں کرتا۔“ کسی کے اس طرح قسم کھانے کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی کہ نہیں، اللہ کی قسم، ہاں اللہ کی قسم!۔
