Rapporté par Al-Bara : La dernière sourate qui a été révélée est Bara’a, et le dernier verset révélé est : « Ils te demandent un avis juridique. Dis : Allah vous donne un avis à propos de ceux qui n’ont ni descendants ni ascendants comme héritiers. »

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ آخِرُ سُورَةٍ نَزَلَتْ بَرَاءَةَ، وَآخِرُ آيَةٍ نَزَلَتْ {يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ }
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Bara:The last Sura that was revealed was Bara'a, and the last Verse that was revealed was: "They ask you for a legal verdict, Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs

ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابواسحاق نے اور انہوں نے براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ سب سے آخر میں جو سورت نازل ہوئی وہ سورۃ برات ہے اور ( احکام میراث کے سلسلے میں ) سب سے آخر میں جو آیت نازل ہوئی وہ «يستفتونك قل الله یفتیکم فى الکلالة» ہے۔
