كتاب تفسير النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Al-Bara : Lorsque le verset : « Ne sont pas égaux ceux des croyants qui restent chez eux » (4:95) a été révélé, le Messager d’Allah a appelé Zaid pour l’écrire. Entre-temps, Ibn Um Maktum est venu et s’est plaint de sa cécité, alors Allah a révélé : « Sauf ceux qui sont handicapés (par une blessure, ou sont aveugles, ou boiteux, etc.). »

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {لاَ يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ} دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم زَيْدًا فَكَتَبَهَا، فَجَاءَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَشَكَا ضَرَارَتَهُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {غَيْرَ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ}
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Al-Bara:When the Verse:-- "Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home)" (4.95) was revealed, Allah's Apostle called for Zaid who wrote it. In the meantime Ibn Um Maktum came and complained of his blindness, so Allah revealed: "Except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame..." etc)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابواسحاق نے اور ان سے براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ جب آیت «لا يستوي القاعدون من المؤمنين» نازل ہوئی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کو کتابت کے لیے بلایا اور انہوں نے وہ آیت لکھ دی۔ پھر عبداللہ بن ام مکتوم رضی اللہ عنہ حاضر ہوئے اور اپنے نابینا ہونے کا عذر پیش کیا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے «غير أولي الضرر» کے الفاظ اور نازل کئے۔
