Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Pendant que certaines personnes faisaient la prière du Fajr à la mosquée de Quba', quelqu'un est venu leur dire : « Cette nuit, des versets du Coran ont été révélés au Prophète (ﷺ) et il a reçu l'ordre de se tourner vers la Ka`ba (à La Mecque) pendant la prière, alors tournez-vous aussi vers elle. » À ce moment-là, ils étaient tournés vers le Sham (Jérusalem), alors ils se sont tournés vers la Ka`ba (à La Mecque)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ بَيْنَا النَّاسُ بِقُبَاءٍ فِي صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ آتٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلَةَ قُرْآنٌ، وَقَدْ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلُوهَا. وَكَانَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ إِلَى الشَّأْمِ فَاسْتَدَارُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Umar:While some people were offering Fajr prayer at Quba' (mosque), some-one came to them and said, "Tonight some Qur'anic Verses have been revealed to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he has been ordered to face the Ka`ba (at Mecca) (during prayers), so you too should turn your faces towards it." At that time their faces were towards Sham (Jerusalem) so they turned towards the Ka`ba (at Mecca)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے یحییٰ بن قزعہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن دینار نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ لوگ مسجد قباء میں صبح کی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ ایک صاحب ( مدینہ سے ) آئے اور کہا کہ رات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر قرآن نازل ہوا ہے اور آپ کو حکم ہوا ہے کہ کعبہ کی طرف منہ کر لیں۔ اس لیے آپ لوگ بھی کعبہ کی طرف پھر جائیں۔ اس وقت ان کا منہ شام کی طرف تھا۔ چنانچہ سب نمازی کعبہ کی طرف پھر گئے۔
