Hadith 4479 — Livre 65: Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh))
كتاب تفسير النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Il a été dit aux enfants d’Israël : ‘Entrez par la porte (de la ville), prosternez-vous (avec humilité) et dites : Hittatun (c’est-à-dire repentir), c’est-à-dire : Ô Allah ! Pardonne nos péchés.’ Mais ils sont entrés en traînant sur leurs fesses, ils ont donc fait autre chose que ce qui leur avait été ordonné et ont dit : ‘Hittatun’, mais ont ajouté : ‘Un grain dans un cheveu.’ »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " قِيلَ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ {ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُولُوا حِطَّةٌ} فَدَخَلُوا يَزْحَفُونَ عَلَى أَسْتَاهِهِمْ، فَبَدَّلُوا وَقَالُوا حِطَّةٌ، حَبَّةٌ فِي شَعَرَةٍ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It was said to the children of Israel, 'Enter the gate (of the town), prostrate (in humility) and say: Hittatun (i.e. repentance) i.e. O Allah! Forgive our sins.' But they entered by dragging themselves on their buttocks, so they did something different (from what they had been ordered to do) and said, 'Hittatun,' but added, "A grain in a hair
Traduction en ourdou
مجھ سے محمد بن سلام نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالرحمٰن بن مہدی نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن مبارک نے، ان سے معمر نے، ان سے ہمام بن منبہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ بنی اسرائیل کو یہ حکم ہوا تھا کہ شہر کے دروازے میں جھکتے ہوئے داخل ہوں اور «حطة» کہتے ہوئے ( یعنی ) ”اے اللہ! ہمارے گناہ معاف کر دے۔“ لیکن وہ الٹے چوتڑوں کے بل گھسٹتے ہوئے داخل ہوئے اور کلمہ «حطة» کو بھی بدل دیا اور کہا کہ «حبة في شعرة» یعنی دل لگی کے طور پر کہنے لگے کہ ”دانہ بال کے اندر ہونا چاہیے۔“
