حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَمَّا مَرِضَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَرَضَ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ جَعَلَ يَقُولُ " فِي الرَّفِيقِ الأَعْلَى ".

Narrated `Aisha:When the Prophet (ﷺ) fell ill in his fatal illness, he started saying, "With the highest companion

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے، ان سے سعد بن ابراہیم نے، ان سے عروہ بن زبیر نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے مرض الموت میں باربار فرماتے تھے۔ ” ( «اللهم» ) «الرفيق الأعلى» اے اللہ! مجھے میرے رفقاء ( انبیاء اور صدیقین ) میں پہنچا دے ( جو اعلیٰ علیین میں رہتے ہیں ) ۔“
