Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Tufail bin `Amr est venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et a dit : « Les Daus (leur peuple) sont perdus car ils ont désobéi et refusé d’accepter l’Islam. Invoque donc Allah contre eux. » Mais le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô Allah ! Guide la tribu de Daus et amène-les à l’Islam. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ جَاءَ الطُّفَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدْ هَلَكَتْ، عَصَتْ وَأَبَتْ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِمْ. فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا وَأْتِ بِهِمْ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:Tufail bin `Amr came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "The Daus (nation) have perished as they disobeyed and refused to accept Islam. So invoke Allah against them." But the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Give guidance to the Daus (tribe) and bring them (to Islam)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن ذکوان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن اعرج نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ طفیل بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ قبیلہ دوس تو تباہ ہوا۔ اس نے نافرمانی اور انکار کیا ( اسلام قبول نہیں کیا ) آپ اللہ سے ان کے لیے دعا کیجئے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اے اللہ! قبیلہ دوس کو ہدایت دے اور انہیں میرے یہاں لے آ۔“
