Rapporté par Isma‘il : J’ai vu (une cicatrice guérie) d’un coup sur la main d’Ibn Abi ‘Aufa qui a dit : « J’ai reçu ce coup lors de la bataille de Hunayn en compagnie du Prophète. » J’ai demandé : « As-tu participé à la bataille de Hunayn ? » Il a répondu : « Oui (et à d’autres batailles avant celle-là). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، رَأَيْتُ بِيَدِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ضَرْبَةً، قَالَ ضُرِبْتُهَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ. قُلْتُ شَهِدْتَ حُنَيْنًا قَالَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Isma`il:I saw (a healed scar of) blow over the hand of Ibn Abi `Aufa who said, "I received that blow in the battle of Hunain in the company of the Prophet." I said, "Did you take part in the battle of Hunain?" He replied, "Yes (and in other battles) before it
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن عبداللہ بن نمیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یزید بن ہارون نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو اسماعیل بن ابی خالد نے خبر دی، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہما کے ہاتھ میں زخم کا نشان دیکھا پھر انہوں نے بتلایا کہ یہ زخم اس وقت آیا تھا جب میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ غزوہ حنین میں شریک تھا۔ میں نے کہا، آپ حنین میں شریک تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس سے پہلے بھی میں کئی غزوات میں شریک ہو چکا ہوں۔
