حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، وَغَزَوْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ حَارِثَةَ اسْتَعْمَلَهُ عَلَيْنَا.

Narrated Salama bin Al-Akwa`:I fought in nine Ghazwa-t along with the Prophet, I also fought along with Ibn Haritha when the Prophet made him our commander

ہم سے ابوعاصم الضحاک بن مخلد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے یزید بن ابی عبید نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سات غزووں میں شریک رہا ہوں اور میں نے ابن حارثہ ( یعنی اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) کے ساتھ بھی غزوہ کیا ہے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ہم پر امیر بنایا تھا۔
