Rapporté par As-Saib bin Yazid : J’ai été en compagnie de `AbdurRahman bin `Auf, Talha bin 'Ubaidullah, Al-Miqdad et Sa`d, et je n’ai entendu aucun d’eux rapporter quoi que ce soit du Prophète (ﷺ) à part le fait que j’ai entendu Talha raconter à propos du jour d’Uhud (bataille)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ صَحِبْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَطَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَالْمِقْدَادَ وَسَعْدًا رضى الله عنهم فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، إِلاَّ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَوْمِ أُحُدٍ
Traduction anglaise
Narrated As-Saib bin Yazid:I have been in the company of `AbdurRahman bin `Auf, Talha bin 'Ubaidullah, Al-Miqdad and Sa`d, and I heard none of them narrating anything from the Prophet (ﷺ) excepting the fact that I heard Talha narrating about the day of Uhud (battle)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبداللہ بن ابی الاسود نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حاتم بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، ان سے سائب بن یزید نے کہ میں، عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف، طلحہ بن عبیداللہ، مقداد بن اسود اور سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہم کی صحبت میں رہا ہوں لیکن میں نے ان حضرات میں سے کسی کو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کوئی حدیث بیان کرتے نہیں سنا۔ صرف طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے غزوہ احد کے متعلق حدیث سنی تھی۔
