Rapporté par Ibn Al Musaiyab : Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a mentionné à la fois son père et sa mère pour moi le jour de la bataille d’Uhud. » Il voulait dire que le Prophète (ﷺ) lui avait dit pendant qu’il combattait : « Que mon père et ma mère soient sacrifiés pour toi. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ لَقَدْ جَمَعَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ أَبَوَيْهِ كِلَيْهِمَا. يُرِيدُ حِينَ قَالَ " فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي ". وَهُوَ يُقَاتِلُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn Al Musaiyab:Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned both his father and mother for me on the day of the battle of Uhud." He meant when the Prophet (ﷺ) said (to Sa`d) while the latter was fighting. "Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن المسیب نے، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ احد کے موقع پر ( میری ہمت بڑھانے کے لیے ) اپنے والد اور والدہ دونوں کو جمع فرمایا۔ ان کی مراد آپ کے اس ارشاد سے تھی جو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس وقت فرمایا تھا جب وہ جنگ کر رہے تھے کہ میرے ماں باپ تم پر فدا ہوں۔
