حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّ الْقَمَرَ، انْشَقَّ عَلَى زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:During the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) the moon was split (into two pieces)

ہم سے عثمان بن صالح نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے بکر بن مضر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے جعفر بن ربیعہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عراک بن مالک نے، ان سے عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ بن عتبہ بن مسعود نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں بلا شک و شبہ چاند پھٹ گیا تھا۔
