Rapporté par Qais : J’ai entendu Sa`id bin Zaid dire aux gens : « Si seulement vous m’aviez vu, moi et la sœur d’`Umar, attachés et forcés par `Umar à quitter l’islam alors qu’il n’était pas encore musulman. Et si la montagne d’Uhud pouvait bouger à cause du mal que vous avez fait à `Uthman, elle aurait raison de le faire. »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، يَقُولُ لِلْقَوْمِ لَوْ رَأَيْتُنِي مُوثِقِي عُمَرُ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ أَنَا وَأُخْتُهُ وَمَا أَسْلَمَ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ أُحُدًا انْقَضَّ لِمَا صَنَعْتُمْ، بِعُثْمَانَ لَكَانَ مَحْقُوقًا أَنْ يَنْقَضَّ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Qais:I heard Sa`id bin Zaid saying to the people, "If you but saw me and `Umar's sister tied and forced by `Umar to leave Islam while he was not yet a Muslim. And if the mountain of Uhud could move from its place for the evil which you people have done to `Uthman, it would have the right to do that
Traduction en ourdou
مجھ سے محمد بن مثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے قیس نے، کہا کہ میں نے سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا انہوں نے مسلمانوں کو مخاطب کر کے کہا ایک وقت تھا کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ جب اسلام میں داخل نہیں ہوئے تھے تو مجھے اور اپنی بہن کو اس لیے باندھ رکھا تھا کہ ہم اسلام کیوں لائے اور آج تم نے جو کچھ عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ برتاؤ کیا ہے اگر اس پر احد پہاڑ بھی اپنی جگہ سے سرک جائے تو اسے ایسا ہی کرنا چاہیے۔
