حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم النِّسَاءَ وَالصِّبْيَانَ مُقْبِلِينَ ـ قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مِنْ عُرُسٍ ـ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُمْثِلاً، فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتُمْ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ ". قَالَهَا ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ.

Narrated Anas:The Prophet (ﷺ) saw the women and children (of the Ansar) coming forward. (The sub-narrator said, "I think that Anas said, 'They were returning from a wedding party.") The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and said thrice, "By Allah! You are from the most beloved people to me

ہم سے ابومعمر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالعزیز نے بیان کیا اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( انصار کی ) عورتوں اور بچوں کو میرے گمان کے مطابق کسی شادی سے واپس آتے ہوئے دیکھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو گئے اور فرمایا اللہ ( گواہ ہے ) تم لوگ مجھے سب سے زیادہ عزیز ہو، تین بار آپ نے ایسا ہی فرمایا۔
