Hadith 3734 — Livre 62: Companions of the Prophet
كتاب فضائل أصحاب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par `Abdullah bin Dinar : Un jour, Ibn `Umar, alors qu’il était à la mosquée, a vu un homme qui traînait ses vêtements en marchant dans un des coins de la mosquée. Il a dit : « Regardez qui c’est. J’aimerais qu’il soit près de moi. » Quelqu’un a alors dit à Ibn `Umar : « Ne le connais-tu pas, ô Abu `Abdur-Rahman ? C’est Muhammad bin Usama. » Là-dessus, Ibn `Umar a baissé la tête, a creusé la terre avec ses mains puis a dit : « Si le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) le voyait, il l’aimerait. »

حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبَّادٍ، يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَاجِشُونُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ نَظَرَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَوْمًا وَهْوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَى رَجُلٍ يَسْحَبُ ثِيَابَهُ فِي نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ انْظُرْ مَنْ هَذَا لَيْتَ هَذَا عِنْدِي. قَالَ لَهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَمَا تَعْرِفُ هَذَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ فَطَأْطَأَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَأْسَهُ، وَنَقَرَ بِيَدَيْهِ فِي الأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَوْ رَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَحَبَّهُ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin Dinar:One day Ibn `Umar, while in the Mosque, looked at a man who was dragging his clothes while walking in one of the corners of the Mosque He said, "See who is that. I wish he was near to me." Somebody then said (to Ibn `Umar), "Don't you know him, O Abu `Abdur-Rahman? He is Muhammad bin Usama." On that Ibn `Umar bowed his head and dug the earth with his hands and then, said, "If Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saw him, he would have loved him

مجھ سے حسن بن محمد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابوعباد یحییٰ بن عباد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ماجشون نے بیان کیا، انہیں عبداللہ بن دینار نے خبر دی کہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک دن ایک صاحب کو مسجد میں دیکھا کہ اپنا کپڑا ایک کونے میں پھیلا رہے تھے۔ انہوں نے کہا دیکھو یہ کون صاحب ہیں؟ کاش! یہ میرے قریب ہوتے۔ ایک شخص نے کہا اے ابوعبدالرحمٰن! کیا آپ انہیں نہیں پہچانتے؟ یہ محمد بن اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں۔ ابن دینار نے بیان کیا کہ یہ سنتے ہی عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اپنا سر جھکا لیا اور اپنے ہاتھوں سے زمین کریدنے لگے پھر بولے اگر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں دیکھتے تو یقیناً آپ ان سے محبت فرماتے۔
