Hadith 3659 — Livre 62: Companions of the Prophet
كتاب فضائل أصحاب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Jubair bin Mut`im : Une femme est venue voir le Prophète (ﷺ) qui lui a demandé de revenir plus tard. Elle a dit : « Et si je reviens et que je ne te trouve pas ? » comme si elle voulait dire : « Si je te trouve décédé ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Si tu ne me trouves pas, va voir Abou Bakr. »

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ أَتَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهِ. قَالَتْ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جِئْتُ وَلَمْ أَجِدْكَ كَأَنَّهَا تَقُولُ الْمَوْتَ. قَالَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ " إِنْ لَمْ تَجِدِينِي فَأْتِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jubair bin Mut`im:A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) who ordered her to return to him again. She said, "What if I came and did not find you?" as if she wanted to say, "If I found you dead?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you should not find me, go to Abu Bakr

ہم سے حمیدی اور محمد بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابراہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے، ان سے محمد بن جبیر بن مطعم نے اور ان سے ان کے والد نے بیان کیا کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آئی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا کہ پھر آنا۔ اس نے کہا: اگر میں آؤں اور آپ کو نہ پاؤں تو؟ گویا وہ وفات کی طرف اشارہ کر رہی تھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر تم مجھے نہ پا سکو تو ابوبکر کے پاس چلی آنا۔
