كتاب مناقب النبي ﷺ

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : J’ai dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! J’entends beaucoup de récits de ta part mais je les oublie. » Il a dit : « Étends ton vêtement. » J’ai étendu mon vêtement et il a fait un geste comme s’il ramassait quelque chose avec ses deux mains et les a vidées dans le vêtement, puis il a dit : « Enroule-le. » Je l’ai enroulé autour de mon corps, et depuis, je n’ai plus jamais rien oublié

حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الْفُدَيْكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ مِنْكَ كَثِيرًا فَأَنْسَاهُ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ ابْسُطْ رِدَاءَكَ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَبَسَطْتُ فَغَرَفَ بِيَدِهِ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏"‏ ضُمَّهُ ‏"‏ فَضَمَمْتُهُ، فَمَا نَسِيتُ حَدِيثًا بَعْدُ‏.‏

Traduction anglaise

Narrated Abu Huraira:I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I hear many narrations from you but I forget them." He said, "Spread your covering sheet." I spread my sheet and he moved both his hands as if scooping something and emptied them in the sheet and said, "Wrap it." I wrapped it round my body, and since then I have never forgotten

Traduction en ourdou

مجھ سے ابراہیم بن المنذر نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے محمد بن اسماعیل ابن ابی الفدیک نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد بن عبدالرحمٰن ابن ابی ذئب نے، ان سے سعید مقبری نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں نے آپ سے بہت سی احادیث اب تک سنی ہیں لیکن میں انہیں بھول جاتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اپنی چادر پھیلاؤ، میں نے چادر پھیلا دی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اس میں ایک لپ بھر کر ڈال دی اور فرمایا کہ اسے اپنے بدن سے لگا لو۔ چنانچہ میں نے لگا لیا اور اس کے بعد کبھی کوئی حدیث نہیں بھولا۔
