Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « J'ai été envoyé (comme Prophète) dans la meilleure des générations issues d'Adam depuis la Création. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " بُعِثْتُ مِنْ خَيْرِ قُرُونِ بَنِي آدَمَ قَرْنًا فَقَرْنًا، حَتَّى كُنْتُ مِنَ الْقَرْنِ الَّذِي كُنْتُ فِيهِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "I have been sent (as an Apostle) in the best of all the generations of Adam's offspring since their Creation
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یعقوب بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن ابی عمرو نے، ان سے سعید مقبری نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میں ( آدم علیہ السلام سے لے کر ) برابر آدمیوں کے بہتر قرنوں میں ہوتا آیا ہوں ( یعنی شریف اور پاکیزہ نسلوں میں ) یہاں تک کہ وہ قرن آیا جس میں میں پیدا ہوا۔“
