كتاب مناقب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « N’est-ce pas étonnant comment Allah me protège des insultes et malédictions des Quraysh ? Ils insultent Mudhammam et maudissent Mudhammam alors que moi, je suis Muhammad (et non Mudhammam). »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلاَ تَعْجَبُونَ كَيْفَ يَصْرِفُ اللَّهُ عَنِّي شَتْمَ قُرَيْشٍ وَلَعْنَهُمْ يَشْتِمُونَ مُذَمَّمًا وَيَلْعَنُونَ مُذَمَّمًا وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Doesn't it astonish you how Allah protects me from the Quraish's abusing and cursing? They abuse Mudhammam and curse Mudhammam while I am Muhammad (and not Mudhammam)

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوالزناد نے، ان سے اعرج نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”تمہیں تعجب نہیں ہوتا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مجھ سے قریش کی گالیوں اور لعنت ملامت کو کس طرح دور کرتا ہے۔ مجھے وہ «مذمم» کہہ کر برا کہتے، اس پر لعنت کرتے ہیں۔ حالانکہ میں تو محمد ہوں۔“
