Hadith 3457 — Livre 60: Prophets
كتاب أحاديث الأنبياء
Rapporté par Anas : Les gens ont parlé du feu et de la cloche (comme moyens proposés pour annoncer l’heure de la prière), en faisant allusion aux Juifs et aux Chrétiens. Mais Bilal a reçu l’ordre suivant : « Prononce les paroles de l’Adhan (l’appel à la prière) deux fois et l’Iqama une seule fois. »

حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ ذَكَرُوا النَّارَ وَالنَّاقُوسَ، فَذَكَرُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى، فَأُمِرَ بِلاَلٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَأَنْ يُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:The people mentioned the fire and the bell (as means proposed for announcing the time of prayer) and by such a suggestion they referred to the Jews and the Christians. But Bilal was ordered, "Pronounce the words of the Adhan (i.e. call for the prayer) twice and the Iqama once only

ہم سے عمران بن میسرہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے خالد نے، ان سے ابوقلابہ نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ( نماز کے لیے اعلان کے طریقے پر بحث کرتے وقت ) صحابہ نے آگ اور ناقوس کا ذکر کیا، لیکن بعض نے کہا کہ یہ تو یہود و نصاریٰ کا طریقہ ہے۔ آخر بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم ہوا کہ اذان میں ( کلمات ) دو دو دفعہ کہیں اور تکبیر میں ایک ایک دفعہ۔
