Hadith 3155 — Livre 57: One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)

Rapporté par Ibn Abi `Aufa : Nous avons souffert de la faim pendant le siège de Khaybar, et le jour de la bataille de Khaybar, nous avons abattu des ânes et, quand la viande a commencé à bouillir dans les marmites, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a annoncé que toutes les marmites devaient être renversées et que personne ne devait manger de cette viande d’âne. Nous avons pensé que le Prophète (ﷺ) avait interdit cela parce que le khumus (la part du butin) n’avait pas été prélevé ; d’autres ont dit : « Il a interdit d’en manger pour toujours. » Le sous-narrateur a ajouté : « J’ai demandé à Sa`id bin Jubair, qui a dit : ‘Il a rendu la viande d’âne interdite à jamais.’ »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ أَصَابَتْنَا مَجَاعَةٌ لَيَالِيَ خَيْبَرَ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ خَيْبَرَ وَقَعْنَا فِي الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ، فَانْتَحَرْنَاهَا فَلَمَّا غَلَتِ الْقُدُورُ، نَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اكْفَئُوا الْقُدُورَ، فَلاَ تَطْعَمُوا مِنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ شَيْئًا. قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَقُلْنَا إِنَّمَا نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَنَّهَا لَمْ تُخَمَّسْ. قَالَ وَقَالَ آخَرُونَ حَرَّمَهَا الْبَتَّةَ. وَسَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ فَقَالَ حَرَّمَهَا الْبَتَّةَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn Abi `Aufa:We were afflicted with hunger during the besiege of Khaibar, and when it was the day of (the battle of) Khaibar, we slaughtered the donkeys and when the pots got boiling (with their meat). Allah's Apostle made an announcement that all the pots should be upset and that nobody should eat anything of the meat of the donkeys. We thought that the Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited that because the Khumus had not been taken out of the booty (i.e. donkeys); other people said, "He prohibited eating them for ever." The sub-narrator added, "I asked Sa`id bin Jubair who said, 'He has made the eating of donkeys' meat illegal for ever

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالواحد نے بیان کیا، ان سے شیبانی نے بیان کیا، کہا میں نے ابن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، آپ بیان کرتے تھے کہ جنگ خیبر کے موقع پر فاقوں پر فاقے ہونے لگے۔ آخر جس دن خیبر فتح ہوا تو ( مال غنیمت میں ) گھریلو گدھے بھی ہمیں ملے۔ چنانچہ انہیں ذبح کر کے ( پکانا شروع کر دیا گیا ) جب ہانڈیوں میں جوش آنے لگا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے منادی نے اعلان کیا کہ ہانڈیوں کو الٹ دو اور گھریلو گدھے کے گوشت میں سے کچھ نہ کھاؤ۔ عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ بعض لوگوں نے اس پر کہا کہ غالباً پ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس لیے روک دیا ہے کہ ابھی تک اس میں سے خمس نہیں نکالا گیا تھا۔ لیکن بعض دوسرے صحابہ نے کہا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گدھے کا گوشت قطعی طور پر حرام قرار دیا ہے۔ ( شیبانی نے بیان کیا کہ ) میں نے سعید بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے قطعی طور پر حرام کر دیا تھا۔
