Rapporté par ‘Abdullah : Le jour de la bataille de Hunayn, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a favorisé certaines personnes dans la distribution du butin (en excluant d’autres) ; il a donné cent chameaux à Al-Aqra’ bin Habis, la même chose à ‘Uyaina, et il a aussi donné à d’autres notables arabes, leur accordant la préférence. Un homme est alors venu et a dit : « Par Allah, il n’y a pas eu de justice dans cette distribution, ni de recherche de l’agrément d’Allah. » J’ai dit (à cet homme) : « Par Allah, je vais informer le Prophète de ce que tu as dit. » Je suis donc allé l’informer, et il a dit : « Si Allah et Son Messager n’agissent pas avec justice, qui le fera ? Qu’Allah fasse miséricorde à Moïse, il a subi bien pire que cela, mais il est resté patient. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ حُنَيْنٍ آثَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُنَاسًا فِي الْقِسْمَةِ، فَأَعْطَى الأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ مِائَةً مِنَ الإِبِلِ، وَأَعْطَى عُيَيْنَةَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَأَعْطَى أُنَاسًا مِنْ أَشْرَافِ الْعَرَبِ، فَآثَرَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْقِسْمَةِ. قَالَ رَجُلٌ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْقِسْمَةَ مَا عُدِلَ فِيهَا، وَمَا أُرِيدَ بِهَا وَجْهُ اللَّهِ. فَقُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ لأُخْبِرَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ " فَمَنْ يَعْدِلُ إِذَا لَمْ يَعْدِلِ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَى قَدْ أُوذِيَ بِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ هَذَا فَصَبَرَ ".

Narrated `Abdullah:On the day (of the battle) of Hunain, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) favored some people in the distribution of the booty (to the exclusion of others); he gave Al-Aqra' bin H`Abis one-hundred camels and he gave 'Uyaina the same amount, and also gave to some of the eminent Arabs, giving them preference in this regard. Then a person came and said, "By Allah, in this distribution justice has not been observed, nor has Allah's Pleasure been aimed at." I said (to him), "By Allah, I will inform the Prophet (of what you have said), "I went and informed him, and he said, "If Allah and His Apostle did not act justly, who else would act justly. May Allah be merciful to Moses, for he was harmed with more than this, yet he kept patient

ہم سے عثمان بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر نے بیان کیا، ان سے منصور نے، ان سے ابووائل نے کہ عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ حنین کی لڑائی کے بعد نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( غنیمت کی ) تقسیم میں بعض لوگوں کو زیادہ دیا۔ جیسے اقرع بن حابس رضی اللہ عنہ کو سو اونٹ دئیے، اتنے ہی اونٹ عیینہ بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ کو دئیے اور کئی عرب کے اشراف لوگوں کو اسی طرح تقسیم میں زیادہ دیا۔ اس پر ایک شخص ( معتب بن قشیر منافق ) نے کہا، کہ اللہ کی قسم! اس تقسیم میں نہ تو عدل کو ملحوظ رکھا گیا ہے اور نہ اللہ کی خوشنودی کا خیال ہوا۔ میں نے کہا کہ واللہ! اس کی خبر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ضرور دوں گا۔ چنانچہ میں آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، اور آپ کو اس کی خبر دی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سن کر فرمایا ”اگر اللہ اور اس کا رسول بھی عدل نہ کرے تو پھر کون عدل کرے گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ موسیٰ علیہ السلام پر رحم فرمائے کہ ان کو لوگوں کے ہاتھ اس سے بھی زیادہ تکلیف پہنچی لیکن انہوں نے صبر کیا۔“
