Rapporté par ‘Amr bin Taghlib : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a fait des dons à certaines personnes et pas à d’autres. Ceux qui n’ont rien reçu semblaient mécontents. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Je donne à certains pour éviter qu’ils ne s’éloignent de la foi ou ne perdent patience, tandis que je compte sur la bonté et la satisfaction qu’Allah a mises dans le cœur des autres, et ‘Amr bin Taghlib en fait partie. » ‘Amr bin Taghlib a dit : « La parole du Messager d’Allah m’est plus précieuse que des chameaux rouges. » Rapporté aussi par Al-Hasan : ‘Amr bin Taghlib nous a dit que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) avait obtenu des biens ou des prisonniers de guerre et les avait distribués ainsi (en donnant à certains et pas à d’autres)

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ تَغْلِبَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أَعْطَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَوْمًا وَمَنَعَ آخَرِينَ، فَكَأَنَّهُمْ عَتَبُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ " إِنِّي أُعْطِي قَوْمًا أَخَافُ ظَلَعَهُمْ وَجَزَعَهُمْ، وَأَكِلُ أَقْوَامًا إِلَى مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَالْغِنَى، مِنْهُمْ عَمْرُو بْنُ تَغْلِبَ ". فَقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ تَغْلِبَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي بِكَلِمَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حُمْرَ النَّعَمِ. وَزَادَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ تَغْلِبَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُتِيَ بِمَالٍ أَوْ بِسَبْىٍ فَقَسَمَهُ. بِهَذَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Amr bin Taghlib:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) gave (gifts) to some people to the exclusion of some others. The latter seemed to be displeased by that. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I give to some people, lest they should deviate from True Faith or lose patience, while I refer other people to the goodness and contentment which Allah has put in their hearts, and `Amr bin Taghlib is amongst them." `Amr bin Taghlib said, "The statement of Allah's Apostle is dearer to me than red camels." Narrated Al-Hasan: `Amr bin Taghlib told us that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) got some property or some war prisoners and he distributed them in the above way (i.e. giving to some people to the exclusion of others)

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر بن حازم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حسن بصریٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عمرو بن تغلب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کچھ لوگوں کو دیا اور کچھ لوگوں کو نہیں دیا۔ غالباً جن لوگوں کو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہیں دیا تھا، ان کو ناگوار ہوا۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں کچھ ایسے لوگوں کو دیتا ہوں کہ مجھے جن کے بگڑ جانے ( اسلام سے پھر جانے ) اور بے صبری کا ڈر ہے۔ اور کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جن پر میں بھروسہ کرتا ہوں، اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے دلوں میں بھلائی اور بے نیازی رکھی ہے ( ان کو میں نہیں دیتا ) عمرو بن تغلب رضی اللہ عنہ بھی انہیں میں شامل ہیں۔ عمرو بن تغلب رضی اللہ عنہ کہا کرتے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میری نسبت یہ جو کلمہ فرمایا اگر اس کے بدلے سرخ اونٹ ملتے تو بھی میں اتنا خوش نہ ہوتا۔ ابوعاصم نے جریر سے بیان کیا کہ میں نے حسن بصریٰ سے سنا، وہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ ہم سے عمرو بن تغلب رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مال یا قیدی آئے تھے اور انہیں کو آپ نے تقسیم فرمایا تھا۔
