Rapporté par Jubair bin Mut‘im : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a parlé des prisonniers de guerre de Badr en disant : « Si Al-Mut‘im bin Adi avait été vivant et avait intercédé auprès de moi pour ces gens, je les aurais libérés pour lui. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فِي أُسَارَى بَدْرٍ " لَوْ كَانَ الْمُطْعِمُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ حَيًّا، ثُمَّ كَلَّمَنِي فِي هَؤُلاَءِ النَّتْنَى، لَتَرَكْتُهُمْ لَهُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jubair bin Mut`im:The Prophet (ﷺ) talked about war prisoners of Badr saying, "Had Al-Mut`im bin Adi been alive and interceded with me for these mean people, I would have freed them for his sake

ہم سے اسحاق بن منصور نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبدالرزاق نے خبر دی، انہیں معمر نے، انہیں زہری نے، انہیں محمد بن جبیر نے اور انہیں ان کے والد رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بدر کے قیدیوں کے بارے میں فرمایا تھا کہ اگر مطعم بن عدی ( جو کفر کی حالت میں مر گئے تھے ) زندہ ہوتے اور ان نجس، ناپاک لوگوں کی سفارش کرتے تو میں ان کی سفارش سے انہیں ( فدیہ لیے بغیر ) چھوڑ دیتا۔
