Hadith 3110 — Livre 57: One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)

Rapporté par `Ali bin Al-Husain : Quand ils sont arrivés à Médine après être revenus de chez Yazid bin Mu’awiya, après le martyre de Husain bin `Ali (qu’Allah lui fasse miséricorde), Al-Miswar bin Makhrama l’a rencontré et lui a dit : « As-tu besoin de quelque chose que je puisse faire pour toi ? » `Ali répondit : « Non. » Al-Miswar dit : « Veux-tu me donner l’épée du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ? J’ai peur que les gens ne te la prennent de force. Par Allah, si tu me la donnes, ils ne pourront jamais la prendre tant que je vivrai. » Quand `Ali bin Abu Talib a demandé la main de la fille d’Abu Jahl pour l’épouser en plus de Fatima, j’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) sur sa chaire parler de cela devant les gens, et j’avais alors atteint l’âge de la puberté. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Fatima fait partie de moi, et j’ai peur qu’elle ne subisse des épreuves dans sa religion (à cause de la jalousie). » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ensuite mentionné un de ses gendres de la tribu d’Abu Shams, et il l’a loué comme un bon gendre, disant : « Tout ce qu’il a dit était vrai, il m’a fait une promesse et l’a tenue. Je ne rends pas illicite ce qui est licite, ni licite ce qui est illicite, mais par Allah, la fille du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et la fille de l’ennemi d’Allah (c’est-à-dire Abu Jahl) ne peuvent jamais être réunies (comme épouses d’un même homme). »

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ الدُّؤَلِيِّ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ حُسَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُمْ، حِينَ قَدِمُوا الْمَدِينَةَ مِنْ عِنْدِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ مَقْتَلَ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ لَقِيَهُ الْمِسْوَرُ بْنُ مَخْرَمَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ هَلْ لَكَ إِلَىَّ مِنْ حَاجَةٍ تَأْمُرُنِي بِهَا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ لاَ. فَقَالَ لَهُ فَهَلْ أَنْتَ مُعْطِيَّ سَيْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَغْلِبَكَ الْقَوْمُ عَلَيْهِ، وَايْمُ اللَّهِ، لَئِنْ أَعْطَيْتَنِيهِ لاَ يُخْلَصُ إِلَيْهِمْ أَبَدًا حَتَّى تُبْلَغَ نَفْسِي، إِنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ خَطَبَ ابْنَةَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ ـ عَلَيْهَا السَّلاَمُ ـ فَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ فِي ذَلِكَ عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ هَذَا وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مُحْتَلِمٌ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ مِنِّي، وَأَنَا أَتَخَوَّفُ أَنْ تُفْتَنَ فِي دِينِهَا ". ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ صِهْرًا لَهُ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ شَمْسٍ، فَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ فِي مُصَاهَرَتِهِ إِيَّاهُ قَالَ " حَدَّثَنِي فَصَدَقَنِي، وَوَعَدَنِي فَوَفَى لِي، وَإِنِّي لَسْتُ أُحَرِّمُ حَلاَلاً وَلاَ أُحِلُّ حَرَامًا، وَلَكِنْ وَاللَّهِ لاَ تَجْتَمِعُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَبِنْتُ عَدُوِّ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Ali bin Al-Husain:That when they reached Medina after returning from Yazid bin Mu'awiya after the martyrdom of Husain bin `Ali (may Allah bestow His Mercy upon him), Al-Miswar bin Makhrama met him and said to him, "Do you have any need you may order me to satisfy?" `Ali said, "No." Al-Miswar said, Will you give me the sword of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for I am afraid that people may take it from you by force? By Allah, if you give it to me, they will never be able to take it till I die." When `Ali bin Abu Talib demanded the hand of the daughter of Abi Jahal to be his wife besides Fatima, I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on his pulpit delivering a sermon in this connection before the people, and I had then attained my age of puberty. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Fatima is from me, and I am afraid she will be subjected to trials in her religion (because of jealousy)." The Prophet (ﷺ) then mentioned one of his son-in-law who was from the tribe of 'Abdi Shams, and he praised him as a good son-in-law, saying, "Whatever he said was the truth, and he promised me and fulfilled his promise. I do not make a legal thing illegal, nor do I make an illegal thing legal, but by Allah, the daughter of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and the daughter of the enemy of Allah, (i.e. Abu Jahl) can never get together (as the wives of one man) (See Hadith No. 76, Vo)

ہم سے سعید بن محمد جرمی نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے یعقوب بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے میرے والد نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ولید بن کثیر نے ‘ ان سے محمد بن عمرو بن حلحلہ ڈولی نے ‘ ان سے ابن شہاب نے ‘ ان سے علی بن حسین (زین العابدین رحمہ اللہ) نے بیان کیا کہ جب ہم سب حضرات حسین بن علی رضی اللہ عنہما کی شہادت کے بعد یزید بن معاویہ کے یہاں سے مدینہ منورہ تشریف لائے تو مسور بن مخرمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے آپ سے ملاقات کی ‘ اور کہا اگر آپ کو کوئی ضرورت ہو تو مجھے حکم فرما دیجئیے۔ ( زین العابدین نے بیان کیا کہ ) میں نے کہا ‘ مجھے کوئی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ پھر مسور رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا تو کیا آپ مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تلوار عنایت فرمائیں گے؟ کیونکہ مجھے خوف ہے کہ کچھ لوگ ( بنو امیہ ) اسے آپ سے نہ چھین لیں اور اللہ کی قسم! اگر وہ تلوار آپ مجھے عنایت فرما دیں تو کوئی شخص بھی جب تک میری جان باقی ہے اسے چھین نہیں سکے گا۔ پھر مسور رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک قصہ بیان کیا کہ علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ نے فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی موجودگی میں ابوجہل کی ایک بیٹی ( جمیلہ نامی رضی اللہ عنہا ) کو پیغام نکاح دے دیا تھا۔ میں نے خود سنا کہ اسی مسئلہ پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے اسی منبر پر کھڑے ہو کر صحابہ کو خطاب فرمایا۔ میں اس وقت بالغ تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبہ میں فرمایا کہ فاطمہ مجھ سے ہے۔ اور مجھے ڈر ہے کہ کہیں وہ ( اس رشتہ کی وجہ سے ) کسی گناہ میں نہ پڑ جائے کہ اپنے دین میں وہ کسی فتنہ میں مبتلا ہو۔ اس کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خاندان بنی عبد شمس کے ایک اپنے داماد ( عاص بن ربیع ) کا ذکر کیا اور دامادی سے متعلق آپ نے ان کی تعریف کی ‘ آپ نے فرمایا کہ انہوں نے مجھ سے جو بات کہی سچ کہی ‘ جو وعدہ کیا ‘ اسے پورا کیا۔ میں کسی حلال ( یعنی نکاح ثانی ) کو حرام نہیں کر سکتا اور نہ کسی حرام کو حلال بناتا ہوں۔ لیکن اللہ کی قسم! رسول اللہ کی بیٹی اور اللہ کے دشمن کی بیٹی ایک ساتھ جمع نہیں ہوں گی۔
