Rapporté par Anas : (Dans un autre récit) : « De l’argent a été apporté au Prophète (ﷺ) depuis Bahreïn. Al-`Abbas est venu vers lui et a dit : ‘Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Donne-m’en, car j’ai payé ma rançon et celle de `Aqil.’ Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Prends’, et il lui en a donné dans son vêtement. »

وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَالٍ مِنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، فَجَاءَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَعْطِنِي فَإِنِّي فَادَيْتُ نَفْسِي، وَفَادَيْتُ عَقِيلاً. فَقَالَ " خُذْ ". فَأَعْطَاهُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ.
Traduction anglaise
(In another narration) Anas said:"Some wealth was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) from Bahrain. Al `Abbas came to him and said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Give me (some of it), as I have paid my and `Aqil's ransom.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Take,' and gave him in his garment

اور ابراہیم بن طہمان نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے عبدالعزیز بن صہیب نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بحرین کا خراج آیا تو عباس رضی اللہ عنہ خدمت نبوی میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اس مال سے مجھے بھی دیجئیے کیونکہ ( بدر کے موقع پر ) میں نے اپنا اور عقیل دونوں کا فدیہ ادا کیا تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”پھر آپ لے لیں“ چنانچہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ان کے کپڑے میں نقدی کو بندھوا دیا۔
