Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : `Umar bin Al-Khattab avait donné un cheval à utiliser dans la voie d’Allah, puis il l’a retrouvé mis en vente. Il a voulu l’acheter. Il a donc consulté le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) qui lui a dit : « Ne l’achète pas et ne reprends pas ton don de charité. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، حَمَلَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَوَجَدَهُ يُبَاعُ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَهُ، فَسَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " لاَ تَبْتَعْهُ، وَلاَ تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:`Umar bin Al-Khattab gave a horse to be ridden in Allah's Cause and then he found it being sold. He intended to purchase it. So, he consulted Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who said, "Don't buy it and don't take back your gift of charity
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں نافع نے اور انہیں عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک گھوڑا اللہ کے راستے میں سواری کے لیے دے دیا تھا، پھر انہوں نے دیکھا کہ وہی گھوڑا فروخت ہو رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے چاہا کہ اسے خرید لیں۔ لیکن جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اجازت چاہی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اب تم اسے نہ خریدو، اور اپنے صدقہ کو واپس نہ پھیرو۔
