Hadith 2961 — Livre 56: Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)
كتاب الجهاد والسير
Rapporté par Anas : Le jour (de la bataille) du Fossé, les Ansar disaient : « Nous sommes ceux qui ont juré fidélité à Muhammad pour le combat (pour toujours) tant que nous vivrons. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) leur a répondu : « Ô Allah ! Il n'y a de vraie vie que celle de l'au-delà. Honore donc les Ansar et les émigrants par Ta générosité. »

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ كَانَتِ الأَنْصَارُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ تَقُولُ نَحْنُ الَّذِينَ بَايَعُوا مُحَمَّدَا عَلَى الْجِهَادِ مَا حَيِينَا أَبَدَا فَأَجَابَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ عَيْشَ إِلاَّ عَيْشُ الآخِرَهْ فَأَكْرِمِ الأَنْصَارَ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:On the day (of the battle) of the Trench, the Ansar were saying, "We are those who have sworn allegiance to Muhammad for Jihad (for ever) as long as we live." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied to them, "O Allah! There is no life except the life of the Hereafter. So honor the Ansar and emigrants with Your Generosity
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا۔ کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے حمید نے بیان کیا اور انہوں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا۔ آپ بیان کرتے تھے کہ انصار خندق کھودتے ہوئے ( غزوہ خندق کے موقع پر ) کہتے تھے «نحن الذين بايعوا محمدا على الجهاد ما حيينا أبدا» ”ہم وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) سے جہاد پر بیعت کی ہے ہمیشہ کے لیے، جب تک ہمارے جسم میں جان ہے۔“
