Rapporté par `Abdullah bin Zaid : À l'époque (de la bataille) d'Al-Harra, une personne est venue me voir et m'a dit : « Ibn Hanzala prend le serment d'allégeance des gens pour la mort. » J'ai répondu : « Je ne donnerai jamais un tel serment d'allégeance à qui que ce soit après le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ زَمَنَ الْحَرَّةِ أَتَاهُ آتٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنَّ ابْنَ حَنْظَلَةَ يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ. فَقَالَ لاَ أُبَايِعُ عَلَى هَذَا أَحَدًا بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin Zaid:that in the time (of the battle) of Al-Harra a person came to him and said, "Ibn Hanzala is taking the pledge of allegiance from the people for death." He said, "I will never give a pledge of allegiance for such a thing to anyone after Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے وہب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عمرو بن یحییٰ نے، ان سے عباد بن تمیم نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ حرہ کی لڑائی کے زمانہ میں ایک صاحب ان کے پاس آئے اور کہا کہ عبداللہ بن حنظلہ لوگوں سے ( یزید کے خلاف ) موت پر بیعت لے رہے ہیں۔ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد اب میں موت پر کسی سے بیعت نہیں کروں گا۔
