Rapporté par As-Sa'ib bin Yazid : J’étais en compagnie de Talha bin 'Ubaidullah, Sa`d, Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad et `Abdur Rahman bin `Auf et je n’ai entendu aucun d’eux rapporter quoi que ce soit du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), sauf Talha qui parlait du jour de la bataille d’Uhud

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ صَحِبْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدًا وَالْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الأَسْوَدِ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا، مِنْهُمْ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، إِلاَّ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَوْمِ أُحُدٍ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated As-Sa'-ib bin Yazid:I was in the company of Talha bin 'Ubaidullah, Sa`d, Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad and `Abdur Rahman bin `Auf and I heard none of them narrating anything from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) but Talha was talking about the day (of the battle) of Uhud
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حاتم نے بیان کیا محمد بن یوسف سے ‘ ان سے سائب بن یزید رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں طلحہ بن عبیداللہ ‘ سعد بن ابی وقاص ‘ مقداد بن اسود اور عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہم کی صحبت میں بیٹھا ہوں لیکن میں نے کسی کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حدیث بیان کرتے نہیں سنا۔ البتہ طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ وہ احد کی جنگ کے متعلق بیان کیا کرتے تھے۔
