كتاب الجهاد والسير
Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Um Ar-Rubai' bint Al-Bara', la mère de Hartha bin Suraqa, est venue voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et a dit : Ô Prophète d'Allah ! Peux-tu me parler de Hartha ? Hartha a été tué (c'est-à-dire martyrisé) le jour de Badr par une flèche lancée par une personne inconnue. Elle a ajouté : S'il est au Paradis, je serai patiente ; sinon, je pleurerai beaucoup pour lui. Il a dit : Ô mère de Hartha ! Il y a des jardins au Paradis et ton fils a obtenu le Firdaus al-Ala (c'est-à-dire la meilleure place au Paradis)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ أُمَّ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتَ الْبَرَاءِ، وَهْىَ أُمُّ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، أَلاَ تُحَدِّثُنِي عَنْ حَارِثَةَ وَكَانَ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَصَابَهُ سَهْمٌ غَرْبٌ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، صَبَرْتُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ اجْتَهَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْبُكَاءِ. قَالَ " يَا أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ، إِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ ابْنَكِ أَصَابَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الأَعْلَى ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:Um Ar-Rubai' bint Al-Bara', the mother of Haritha bin Suraqa came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Prophet! Will you tell me about Haritha?" Haritha had been killed (i.e. martyred) on the day of Badr with an arrow thrown by an unidentified person. She added, "If he is in Paradise, I will be patient; otherwise, I will weep bitterly for him." He said, "O mother of Haritha! There are Gardens in Paradise and your son got the Firdaus al-ala (i.e. the best place in Paradise)

ہم سے محمد بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حسین بن محمد ابواحمد نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے شیبان نے بیان کیا قتادہ سے ‘ ان سے انس بن مالک نے بیان کیا کہ ام الربیع بنت براء رضی اللہ عنہا جو حارثہ بن سراقہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی والدہ تھیں ‘ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کیا، اے اللہ کے نبی! حارثہ کے بارے میں بھی آپ مجھے کچھ بتائیں۔ حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہ بدر کی لڑائی میں شہید ہو گئے تھے ‘ انہیں نامعلوم سمت سے ایک تیر آ کر لگا تھا۔ کہ اگر وہ جنت میں ہے تو صبر کر لوں اور اگر کہیں اور ہے تو اس کے لیے روؤں دھوؤں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اے ام حارثہ! جنت کے بہت سے درجے ہیں اور تمہارے بیٹے کو فردوس اعلیٰ میں جگہ ملی ہے۔
