كتاب الجهاد والسير
Rapporté par `Aisha (رضي الله عنها) : (Elle a dit) : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Nous considérons le combat pour la cause d’Allah comme la meilleure action. Ne devrions-nous pas y participer ? » Il a répondu : « Le meilleur combat (pour les femmes) est un Hajj accompli selon la tradition du Prophète et accepté par Allah. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُرَى الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلَ الْعَمَلِ، أَفَلاَ نُجَاهِدُ قَالَ " لَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:(That she said), "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! We consider Jihad as the best deed. Should we not fight in Allah's Cause?" He said, "The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj-Mabrur (i.e. Hajj which is done according to the Prophet's tradition and is accepted by Allah)
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے خالد بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے حبیب بن ابی عمرہ نے بیان کیا عائشہ بنت طلحہ سے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا ( ام المؤمنین ) نے کہ انہوں پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ جہاد افضل اعمال میں سے ہے پھر ہم ( عورتیں ) بھی کیوں نہ جہاد کریں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”لیکن سب سے افضل جہاد مقبول حج ہے جس میں گناہ نہ ہوں۔“
