Rapporté par Anas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit (au moment de la construction de la Mosquée) : « Ô Bani An-Najjar ! Proposez-moi un prix pour votre jardin. » Ils ont répondu : « Nous ne demandons son prix qu’à Allah. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ثَامِنُونِي بِحَائِطِكُمْ ". قَالُوا لاَ نَطْلُبُ ثَمَنَهُ إِلاَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:The Prophet (ﷺ) said (at the time of building the Mosque), "O Bani An-Najjar! Suggest to me a price for your garden." They replied, "We do not ask its price except from Allah
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابوالتیاح نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا ”اے بنو نجار! تم اپنے باغ کی قیمت مجھ سے وصول کر لو تو انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ ہم اس کی قیمت اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی سے نہیں چاہتے۔“
