كتاب الوصايا
Rapporté par Anas : Quand le Prophète (ﷺ) a ordonné la construction de la mosquée, il a dit : « Ô Bani An-Najjar ! Proposez-moi un prix pour votre jardin. » Ils répondirent : « Par Allah ! Nous n’en demanderons le prix à personne d’autre qu’Allah. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِبِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ " يَا بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ثَامِنُونِي بِحَائِطِكُمْ هَذَا ". قَالُوا لاَ. وَاللَّهِ لاَ نَطْلُبُ ثَمَنَهُ إِلاَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:When the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that the mosque be built, he said, "O Bani An-Najjar! Suggest to me a price for this garden of yours." They replied, "By Allah! We will demand its price from none but Allah

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابوالتیاح یزید بن حمید نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے ‘ انہوں نے کہا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( مدینہ میں ) مسجد بنانے کا حکم دیا اور بنی نجار سے فرمایا تم اپنے اس باغ کا مجھ سے مول کر لو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہرگز نہیں اللہ کی قسم ہم تو اللہ ہی سے اس کا مول لیں گے۔
