Rapporté par Zahdam bin Mudrab : J’ai entendu `Imran bin Husain dire : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Les meilleures personnes sont celles de ma génération, puis celles qui viendront après, puis celles qui viendront après (la deuxième génération). » `Imran a dit : « Je ne sais pas si le Prophète (ﷺ) a mentionné deux ou trois générations après la vôtre. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ajouté : « Après vous, il y aura des gens malhonnêtes, indignes de confiance, qui témoigneront sans qu’on leur demande, feront des vœux sans les tenir, et l’obésité deviendra courante parmi eux. »

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَمْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَهْدَمَ بْنَ مُضَرِّبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خَيْرُكُمْ قَرْنِي، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ". قَالَ عِمْرَانُ لاَ أَدْرِي أَذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدُ قَرْنَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثَةً. قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ بَعْدَكُمْ قَوْمًا يَخُونُونَ وَلاَ يُؤْتَمَنُونَ، وَيَشْهَدُونَ، وَلاَ يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ وَيَنْذِرُونَ وَلاَ يَفُونَ، وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ السِّمَنُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Zahdam bin Mudarrib:I heard `Imran bin Husain saying, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The best people are those living in my generation, then those coming after them, and then those coming after (the second generation)." `Imran said "I do not know whether the Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned two or three generations after your present generation. The Prophet (ﷺ) added, 'There will be some people after you, who will be dishonest and will not be trustworthy and will give witness (evidences) without being asked to give witness, and will vow but will not fulfill their vows, and obesity will appear among them
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے آدم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوحمزہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے زہدم بن مضرب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ میں نے عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا اور انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”تم میں سب سے بہتر میرے زمانہ کے لوگ ( صحابہ ) ہیں۔ پھر وہ لوگ جو ان کے بعد آئیں گے ( تابعین ) پھر وہ لوگ جو اس کے بھی بعد آئیں گے۔ ( تبع تابعین ) عمران نے بیان کیا کہ میں نہیں جانتا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو زمانوں کا ( اپنے بعد ) ذکر فرمایا یا تین کا پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تمہارے بعد ایسے لوگ پیدا ہوں گے جو چور ہوں گے، جن میں دیانت کا نام نہ ہو گا۔ ان سے گواہی دینے کے لیے نہیں کہا جائے گا۔ لیکن وہ گواہیاں دیتے پھریں گے۔ نذریں مانیں گے لیکن پوری نہیں کریں گے۔ مٹاپا ان میں عام ہو گا۔“
