Rapporté par Asma' bint Abu Bakr : Ma mère est venue me voir du vivant du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) alors qu’elle était polythéiste. J’ai demandé au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), cherchant son avis : « Ma mère est venue me voir et elle aimerait que je lui fasse du bien, dois-je garder de bonnes relations avec elle ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Oui, garde de bonnes relations avec elle. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَتْ قَدِمَتْ عَلَىَّ أُمِّي وَهْىَ مُشْرِكَةٌ، فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَاسْتَفْتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْتُ {إِنَّ أُمِّي قَدِمَتْ} وَهْىَ رَاغِبَةٌ، أَفَأَصِلُ أُمِّي قَالَ " نَعَمْ صِلِي أُمَّكِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Asma' bint Abu Bakr:My mother came to me during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and she was a pagan. I said to Allah's Apostle (seeking his verdict), "My mother has come to me and she desires to receive a reward from me, shall I keep good relations with her?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes, keep good relation with her

ہم سے عبید بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابواسامہ نے بیان کیا ہشام سے، ان سے ان کے باپ نے اور ان سے اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں میری والدہ ( قتیلہ بنت عبدالعزیٰ ) جو مشرکہ تھیں، میرے یہاں آئیں۔ میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا، میں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ وہ ( مجھ سے ملاقات کی ) بہت خواہشمند ہیں، تو کیا میں اپنی والدہ کے ساتھ صلہ رحمی کر سکتی ہوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہاں اپنی والدہ کے ساتھ صلہ رحمی کر۔
