Hadith 2594 — Livre 51: Gifts
كتاب الهبة
Rapporté par Maimouna, l’épouse du Prophète (ﷺ), qu’elle a affranchi son esclave et le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a dit : « Tu aurais eu plus de récompense si tu avais donné l’esclave à un de tes oncles maternels. »

Texte arabe original
وَقَالَ بَكْرٌ عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَعْتَقَتْ وَلِيدَةً لَهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا " وَلَوْ وَصَلْتِ بَعْضَ أَخْوَالِكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لأَجْرِكِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Maimuna, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) that she manumitted her slave-girl and the Prophet (ﷺ) said to her, "You would have got more reward if you had given the slave-girl to one of your maternal uncles

اور بکر بن مضر نے عمرو بن حارث سے، انہوں نے بکیر سے، انہوں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کے غلام کریب سے ( بیان کیا کہ ) نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے اپنی ایک لونڈی آزاد کی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا ”اگر وہ تمہارے ننھیال والوں کو دی جاتی تو تمہیں زیادہ ثواب ملتا۔“
