Rapporté par Jabir : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est venu me rendre visite alors que j’étais malade et inconscient. Il fit ses ablutions et aspergea le reste de l’eau sur moi. Je repris connaissance et dis : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! À qui ira mon héritage, car je n’ai ni ascendants ni descendants ? » Ensuite, les versets divins sur les parts d’héritage (Fara’id) furent révélés

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَعُودُنِي، وَأَنَا مَرِيضٌ لاَ أَعْقِلُ، فَتَوَضَّأَ وَصَبَّ عَلَىَّ مِنْ وَضُوئِهِ، فَعَقَلْتُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَنِ الْمِيرَاثُ إِنَّمَا يَرِثُنِي كَلاَلَةٌ. فَنَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْفَرَائِضِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to visit me while I was sick and unconscious. He performed ablution and sprinkled the remaining water on me and I became conscious and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! To whom will my inheritance go as I have neither ascendants nor descendants?" Then the Divine verses regarding Fara'id (inheritance) were revealed
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے محمد بن المنکدر کے واسطے سے، انہوں نے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، وہ کہتے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میری مزاج پرسی کے لیے تشریف لائے۔ میں بیمار تھا ایسا کہ مجھے ہوش تک نہیں تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور اپنے وضو کا پانی مجھ پر چھڑکا، تو مجھے ہوش آ گیا۔ میں نے عرض کیا، یا رسول اللہ! میرا وارث کون ہو گا؟ میرا تو صرف ایک کلالہ وارث ہے۔ اس پر آیت میراث نازل ہوئی۔
