Hadith 159 — Livre 4: Ablutions (Wudu')
كتاب الوضوء
Rapporté par Humran (l’esclave de ‘Uthman) : J’ai vu ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan demander un récipient d’eau. Quand on le lui a apporté, il a versé de l’eau sur ses mains et les a lavées trois fois, puis il a mis sa main droite dans le récipient, s’est rincé la bouche, a nettoyé son nez en y mettant de l’eau puis en la soufflant, puis il a lavé son visage et ses avant-bras jusqu’aux coudes trois fois, a passé ses mains mouillées sur sa tête et a lavé ses pieds jusqu’aux chevilles trois fois. Ensuite il a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Si quelqu’un fait ses ablutions comme moi et prie deux unités de prière sans penser à autre chose, ses péchés passés seront pardonnés.’ »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأُوَيْسِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ حُمْرَانَ مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، رَأَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ دَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ، فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ فَغَسَلَهُمَا، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ فَمَضْمَضَ، وَاسْتَنْشَقَ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا، وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، لاَ يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Humran: (the slave of 'Uthman) I saw 'Uthman bin 'Affan asking for a tumbler of water (and when it was brought) he poured water over his hands and washed them thrice and then put his right hand in the water container and rinsed his mouth, washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. then he washed his face and forearms up to the elbows thrice, passed his wet hands over his head and washed his feet up to the ankles thrice. Then he said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said 'If anyone performs ablution like that of mine and offers a two-rak'at prayer during which he does not think of anything else (not related to the present prayer) then his past sins will be forgiven
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ الاویسی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا مجھ سے ابراہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، وہ ابن شہاب سے نقل کرتے ہیں، انہیں عطاء بن یزید نے خبر دی، انہیں حمران عثمان کے مولیٰ نے خبر دی کہ انہوں نے عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا، انہوں نے ( حمران سے ) پانی کا برتن مانگا۔ ( اور لے کر پہلے ) اپنی ہتھیلیوں پر تین مرتبہ پانی ڈالا پھر انہیں دھویا۔ اس کے بعد اپنا داہنا ہاتھ برتن میں ڈالا۔ اور ( پانی لے کر ) کلی کی اور ناک صاف کی، پھر تین بار اپنا چہرہ دھویا اور کہنیوں تک تین بار دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے پھر اپنے سر کا مسح کیا پھر ( پانی لے کر ) ٹخنوں تک تین مرتبہ اپنے دونوں پاؤں دھوئے۔ پھر کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے کہ جو شخص میری طرح ایسا وضو کرے، پھر دو رکعت پڑھے، جس میں اپنے نفس سے کوئی بات نہ کرے۔ تو اس کے گذشتہ گناہ معاف کر دئیے جاتے ہیں۔
