كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Anas : Zaid bin Thabit a dit : « Nous avons pris le Suhur avec le Prophète (ﷺ). Puis il s’est levé pour la prière. » J’ai demandé : « Quel était l’intervalle entre le Suhur et l’Adhan ? » Il a répondu : « L’intervalle était suffisant pour réciter cinquante versets du Coran. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ تَسَحَّرْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ. قُلْتُ كَمْ كَانَ بَيْنَ الأَذَانِ وَالسَّحُورِ قَالَ قَدْرُ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas:Zaid bin Thabit said, "We took the Suhur with the Prophet (ﷺ) . Then he stood for the prayer." I asked, "What was the interval between the Suhur and the Adhan?" He replied, "The interval was sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Qur'an

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشام نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے اور ان سے زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ہم نے سحری کھائی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صبح کی نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے۔ میں نے پوچھا کہ سحری اور اذان میں کتنا فاصلہ ہوتا تھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ پچاس آیتیں ( پڑھنے ) کے موافق فاصلہ ہوتا تھا۔
