Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Amr : Un jour, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) était en retard lors d’un voyage. Il nous a rejoints alors que nous faisions nos ablutions pour la prière de l’Asr, qui était déjà en retard. Nous passions simplement nos mains mouillées sur nos pieds sans bien les laver. Alors le Prophète (ﷺ) nous a interpellés à voix haute et a répété deux ou trois fois : « Protégez vos talons du feu ! »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ تَخَلَّفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ سَافَرْنَاهُ فَأَدْرَكَنَا وَقَدْ أَرْهَقْنَا الصَّلاَةَ صَلاَةَ الْعَصْرِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَوَضَّأُ، فَجَعَلْنَا نَمْسَحُ عَلَى أَرْجُلِنَا، فَنَادَى بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ " وَيْلٌ لِلأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ ". مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:Once Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the `Asr prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (not washing them properly) so the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice, "Save your heels from the fire
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوعوانہ نے ابی بشر کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، وہ یوسف بن ماھک سے بیان کرتے ہیں، وہ عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک سفر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم سے پیچھے رہ گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے قریب پہنچے۔ تو عصر کی نماز کا وقت ہو چکا تھا یا تنگ ہو گیا تھا اور ہم وضو کر رہے تھے۔ ہم اپنے پیروں پر پانی کا ہاتھ پھیرنے لگے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بلند آواز سے فرمایا کہ آگ کے عذاب سے ان ایڑیوں کی ( جو خشک رہ جائیں ) خرابی ہے۔ یہ دو مرتبہ فرمایا یا تین مرتبہ۔
