Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : J’ai amené `Abdullah bin Abu Talha au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) pour qu’il fasse le Tahnik pour lui. (Le Tahnik était une coutume chez les musulmans : quand un enfant naissait, on l’amenait au Prophète (ﷺ) qui mâchait une datte et en mettait un peu dans la bouche du bébé). J’ai vu le Prophète (ﷺ) avec un instrument pour marquer au fer, il marquait les chameaux de la Zakat

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ غَدَوْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ لِيُحَنِّكَهُ، فَوَافَيْتُهُ فِي يَدِهِ الْمِيسَمُ يَسِمُ إِبِلَ الصَّدَقَةِ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Anas bin Malik:I took `Abdullah bin Abu Talha to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to perform Tahnik for him. (Tahnik was a custom among the Muslims that whenever a child was born they used to take it to the Prophet (ﷺ) who would chew a piece of date and put a part of its juice in the child's mouth). I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) and he had an instrument for branding in his hands and was branding the camels of Zakat
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابراہیم بن المنذر نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ ہم سے ولید نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ ہم سے ابوعمرو اوزاعی نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے اسحاق بن عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ کو لے کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کی تحنیک کر دیں۔ ( یعنی اپنے منہ سے کوئی چیز چبا کر ان کے منہ میں ڈال دیں ) میں نے اس وقت دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھ میں داغ لگانے کا آلہ تھا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم زکوٰۃ کے اونٹوں پر داغ لگا رہے تھے۔
