Hadith 1445 — Livre 24: Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat)
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Abu Burda, de son père, de son grand-père : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Chaque musulman doit donner en aumône. » Les gens ont demandé : « Ô Prophète d’Allah ! Si quelqu’un n’a rien à donner, que doit-il faire ? » Il a dit : « Il doit travailler de ses mains, se rendre utile à lui-même et donner en aumône avec ce qu’il gagne. » Les gens ont encore demandé : « Et s’il ne trouve même pas cela ? » Il a répondu : « Il doit aider le pauvre qui demande de l’aide. » Puis les gens ont demandé : « Et s’il ne peut pas faire cela ? » Il a répondu : « Alors il doit faire de bonnes actions et éviter les mauvaises, et cela sera considéré comme une aumône. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ صَدَقَةٌ ". فَقَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ قَالَ " يَعْمَلُ بِيَدِهِ فَيَنْفَعُ نَفْسَهُ وَيَتَصَدَّقُ ". قَالُوا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ قَالَ " يُعِينُ ذَا الْحَاجَةِ الْمَلْهُوفَ ". قَالُوا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ. قَالَ " فَلْيَعْمَلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَلْيُمْسِكْ عَنِ الشَّرِّ فَإِنَّهَا لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Burda:from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Every Muslim has to give in charity." The people asked, "O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?" He said, "He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns)." The people further asked, "If he cannot find even that?" He replied, "He should help the needy who appeal for help." Then the people asked, "If he cannot do that?" He replied, "Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds and this will be regarded as charitable deeds

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ ہم سے سعید بن ابی بردہ نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ان کے باپ ابوبردہ نے ان کے دادا ابوموسیٰ اشعری سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہر مسلمان پر صدقہ کرنا ضروری ہے۔ لوگوں نے پوچھا اے اللہ کے نبی! اگر کسی کے پاس کچھ نہ ہو؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر اپنے ہاتھ سے کچھ کما کر خود کو بھی نفع پہنچائے اور صدقہ بھی کرے۔ لوگوں نے کہا اگر اس کی طاقت نہ ہو؟ فرمایا کہ پھر کسی حاجت مند فریادی کی مدد کرے۔ لوگوں نے کہا اگر اس کی بھی سکت نہ ہو۔ فرمایا پھر اچھی بات پر عمل کرے اور بری باتوں سے باز رہے۔ اس کا یہی صدقہ ہے۔
