Hadith 1395 — Livre 24: Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat)
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a envoyé Mu`adh au Yémen et lui a dit : « Invite les gens à témoigner qu’il n’y a de divinité digne d’adoration qu’Allah et que je suis le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). S’ils acceptent cela, enseigne-leur qu’Allah leur a prescrit cinq prières chaque jour et chaque nuit (dans les vingt-quatre heures). S’ils acceptent cela, apprends-leur qu’Allah leur a rendu obligatoire de donner la Zakat sur leurs biens, à prélever sur les riches parmi eux pour être donnée aux pauvres. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّاءَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ " ادْعُهُمْ إِلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِكَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدِ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِكَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَدَقَةً فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ، تُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ وَتُرَدُّ عَلَى فُقَرَائِهِمْ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) sent Mu`adh to Yemen and said, "Invite the people to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I am Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has enjoined on them five prayers in every day and night (in twenty-four hours), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has made it obligatory for them to pay the Zakat from their property and it is to be taken from the wealthy among them and given to the poor
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابوعاصم ضحاک بن مخلد نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے زکریا بن اسحاق نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے یحییٰ بن عبداللہ بن صیفی نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابومعبد نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جب معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کو یمن ( کا حاکم بنا کر ) بھیجا تو فرمایا کہ تم انہیں اس کلمہ کی گواہی کی دعوت دینا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور یہ کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں۔ اگر وہ لوگ یہ بات مان لیں تو پھر انہیں بتانا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر روزانہ پانچ وقت کی نمازیں فرض کی ہیں۔ اگر وہ لوگ یہ بات بھی مان لیں تو پھر انہیں بتانا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے مال پر کچھ صدقہ فرض کیا ہے جو ان کے مالدار لوگوں سے لے کر انہیں کے محتاجوں میں لوٹا دیا جائے گا۔
