Rapporté par ‘Abdullah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Celui qui se frappe les joues, déchire ses vêtements et suit les traditions de l’époque de l’ignorance ne fait pas partie de nous. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ، وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who slaps the cheeks, tears the clothes and follows the traditions of the Days of Ignorance is not from us

ہم سے عمر بن حفص نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ان کے باپ حفص نے اور ان سے اعمش نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مرہ نے ‘ ان سے مسروق نے اور ان سے عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جو ( کسی کی موت پر ) اپنے رخسار پیٹے ‘ گریبان چاک کرے اور جاہلیت کی باتیں کرے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے۔
