Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : L'islam repose sur cinq principes : 1. Attester qu'il n'y a de dieu qu'Allah et que Muhammad est le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ). 2. Accomplir les prières obligatoires avec sérieux et régularité. 3. Donner la Zakat (l'aumône obligatoire). 4. Faire le Hajj (le pèlerinage à La Mecque). 5. Jeûner pendant le mois de Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بُنِيَ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالْحَجِّ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). 2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly. 3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity) . 4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca) 5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan

ہم سے عبیداللہ بن موسیٰ نے یہ حدیث بیان کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں اس کی بابت حنظلہ بن ابی سفیان نے خبر دی۔ انہوں نے عکرمہ بن خالد سے روایت کی انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اسلام کی بنیاد پانچ چیزوں پر قائم کی گئی ہے۔ اول گواہی دینا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور بیشک محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ کے سچے رسول ہیں اور نماز قائم کرنا اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرنا اور حج کرنا اور رمضان کے روزے رکھنا۔
