Hadith 1170 — Livre 19: Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)
كتاب قيام الليل
Rapporté par Jabir bin `Abdullah : Pendant qu’il faisait un sermon, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si l’un de vous arrive alors que l’imam prononce le sermon ou est sorti pour cela, il doit faire deux rak`at de prière. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ " إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ ـ أَوْ قَدْ خَرَجَ ـ فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:While delivering a sermon, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If anyone of you comes while the Imam is delivering the sermon or has come out for it, he should offer a two rak`at prayer

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہمیں شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہیں عمرو بن دینار نے خبر دی، کہا کہ میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ انصاری رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جمعہ کا خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ جو شخص بھی ( مسجد میں ) آئے اور امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو یا خطبہ کے لیے نکل چکا ہو تو وہ دو رکعت نماز ( تحیۃ المسجد کی ) پڑھ لے۔
